Cog's Creek Gallery is ground zero for works by local and regional makers and artisans: jewelry, ceramics, works-on-paper & canvas, sculpture, fiber, studio furniture and other unexpected art objects. Work done by hand. Work done by heart.
Friday, July 25, 5 to 8 p.m.
Mother always said to eat yer fruits and vegetables. Traverse City artist Kaye Krapohl took that advice to heart, then took it one better. “Illumin-ate,” paintings about light, food and the joy of eating opens Friday, July 25 at Cog’s Creek Gallery. Kaye has created a group of color saturated, close-up paintings that celebrate everybody’s favorite, summertime food group. Please join us for an artist’s reception, 5-8 p.m. This feast for the eyes and soul runs through Sept. 2.
